VDP 🔒 32501 Secret Storage Compartment Review

Works great! Bought two, for JK 2012 and 2015. Not sure about the other review but I was able to hold all the OEM plastic in place, just had to drill a small hole in the plastic to push the screw through that keeps it intact in the jeep, but it does lift up a bit and the carpet has very slight bulges. Suitable for many and fairly safe. I leave my top open most of the year and it's great for storing my off-road gear.

Oh how I LOVE my new safe. I was concerned that we have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited 4-Door and worried it wouldn't fit properly. However, it fits. There are some cons but not enough not to recommend it as I highly recommend this VDP locked hidden storage. Also, I was blown away by the very quick and prompt service I received from VDP. Cons: 1) we had to remove the original black plastic trim which meant the paint would be visible from the front; 2) no gasket on the bottom of the safe…

Just received this today and installed it in my Jeep Wrangler and I was blown away by how flimsy it is! First of all the biggest downside; The lower half of the vault is PLASTIC! #2, it's a lot smaller than the space it fits in, so it's VERY easy for a thief to just get their hands under the whole thing and pull it out! There's only one small screw (and a couple of metal "wings") holding it in place, but if someone pulls on it, the wings stay in the jeep and the screw just pops off the plastic…
