Easy to use - industrial truck

Worked well when moving my machining center. You can't control these skates, but it's enough to simply pick up what you're moving and change the position of the skates to spin.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Flawed

They do their job

Works well enough for the price. I now have HAAS VF2 on 4 of them. You managed to move a very heavy machine with just one person.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Lots of features

Works perfectly! But here's a tip.

Works as expected. I have found that they tend to slide out of cars on uneven ground. An upgrade to them can be a pair of skates bolted to a pole. A protrusion on an edge can also be useful under certain circumstances.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fantastic value for money on material handling products

Worked well for the gear I was transporting. Of course, I can't turn it very well, but the fitters packed everything tightly and then used it to get the last few centimeters out. Drop N/S, select again and set E/W. Didn't move really heavy objects, only 2-4 tons. Mop the floor!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Something different

Great forklift value

Moved several CNCs including a Haas VF-2 (9000lbs) with 3 of these and they worked great. You have to change the position of the skates to take turns, which isn't a big deal. I'm a pro and have used skates that cost 20x more. That's a good bang for your buck.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Paid for itself after first use

Bought these to move a vertical knee mill at my shop at home and have since bought more because they are so comfortable to hold in hand . As you might expect, they suck a bit, they're not Highlanders. but they are affordable and get the job done. Get a foot jack and handlebars if you don't have one, and you'll be able to move around in almost anything.

Pros
  • Goods handling
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Hard to beat the price, surprisingly good quality.

They use real ball bearings in the wheels. Also roll well over large cracks or trailer ramps. I moved a full size Bridgeport mill slightly and winched it with 3 of them onto a dump trailer. Much better than skates that use ball bearings directly on the ground. I don't know why people complain about the wheels collecting dirt. from the floor. The nylon urethane wheel allowance makes it much easier to use for small imperfections compared to steel.

Pros
  • Industrial trucks
Cons
  • Some little things

Very important! for handling equipment

Let's face it, these skates don't cost more than $1,000. They are aimed at the budget conscious consumer who won't be spending as much money on a skate car (like me). I've only used a couple of these (with the SSKT-3 Steerable Skate) to move about a ton (my mill is in Bridgeport) but they worked great for that. I have also used them for other 1000# devices. Very soft. They are light enough to move around with no problem. I wish I had had this years ago; maybe I would have avoided the hernia…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Disappear
