Bought for my 2001 Audi TT quattro. At first I thought the item was defective due to the "Link Error" message. It turned out to be the K line. For those of you who own an Audi, if you have an aftermarket radio you will need to ensure that your wired adapter does not connect to vehicles via the K-line. After I cut the cable connecting to the native K-Line wireless connector, the VS450 worked great! VS 450 reads my car's OBD port and error codes. Recommended for Volkswagen and Audi owners.

Bought a scanner to extract engine codes and turn off the airbag light in a 2011 VW Golf TDI. When trying to connect to the airbag module, I kept getting the message "CONNECTION ERROR". The instructions say to check your connections and such, but an option is if that module is not supported by the device. Bought a few years ago. We still use it. more often than we would like (VW joy). Having your EPC light on is a quick and convenient way to reset the code and get your car out of emergency mode. The definitions may need updating but are still given a code number so you can find them on the ROSS TECH wiki. I keep this in my MK5 GTI. My 2002 New Beetle accidentally had traction control problems and I have a Roadi RDT45 that I bought over 5 years ago that couldn't read any codes. Researching the VW forums I read that some items are only picked up by "high end" readers like this one or the much more expensive VCDS.
