Does not perform all declared functions.
Bought a scanner to extract engine codes and turn off the airbag light in a 2011 VW Golf TDI. When trying to connect to the airbag module, I kept getting the message "CONNECTION ERROR". The instructions say to check your connections and such, but an option is if that module is not supported by the device. I was able to connect to the motor module but not to any of the other 20+ modules listed in the menu. When I called up the engine trouble codes, only one of the 9 codes displayed was a number found on the engine code chart. for Volkswagen. I was however able to reset the engine trouble codes which turned off the lights on the dash but that was it. I sent the device back.
