🚀 Enhance Exhaust Performance with Vibrant 17950 Stainless Steel Resonator 3 inch Review

Quality part, cuts both drone and rasp. Each machine will sound different, but if you have a drone or rasp, this will most likely help. I used it on my G35 with a previous owner's ridiculous and silly sounding custom exhaust. Helped me clean up a bit.

Great product although I have no idea how it survived shipping. The product box was a shipping box. No tape was applied to prevent the box from being opened. When the package arrived it was already open. I don't know how the resonator didn't roll out during transportation and didn't get lost. I think I'm lucky. I have attached a photo of how it was delivered.

Audi S3 2017 - APR Stage 2 After installing the aftermarket exhaust and APR downpipe the decibel levels and hum were ridiculous. That resonator dangles slightly from the chassis, but it's not enough to hit speed bumps unless you install lowering springs. My exhaust noise is almost back to stock and all the rumble is gone. I love this resonator!

I installed this center resonator on my 2004 Volvo V70R with IPD exhaust to try and beat the drone based on another review here on Revain, and to be honest it didn't help. It doesn't work, so for now I'll just put in a custom exhaust and be done with the drone. So I don't think it's worth buying. Nice sound if that's what you're looking for, but a failure for me and my app.

These are absorption type resonators, so they are more like mufflers and reduce the volume of exhaust noise. They also increase exhaust flow much better than straight pipes. I installed them on my Hellcat which was straight, scratchy and made an annoying hum at high speeds. A couple of them got my car back into legal territory, it still sounds like Hellcat but is louder than stock and not annoying anymore. I lost about 12 decibels on cold start and 5-8 when idling compared to the straight pipe,
