Low quality. fits spares

The first product I bought broke shortly after installation. Then I bought another one and the case broke during installation.

Save some money and use it.

I used this as a replacement for my 3 post original. No problems and very easy to install. The instructions also state which pin is not used in a 3-pin connection.

You get what you pay for.

Replaced the solenoid valve on my basic tractor last February. worked fine 11 months. Today I went back to the jump terminals to get the tractor to start. This tractor has a permanently installed snow plow and is only used 3 or 4 months of the year.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • High Price

Poor quality good for starters and alternators

The contacts inside this solenoid are of poor quality The bottom contact is just a thin copper strip, there is no silver pad for the contact, they burn easily nor will they spark and stick together, or they don't make good enough contact to pass voltage or high current to the starter. I bought 3 of these last year, I'm on my last. I opened them to see what's going on so I can't get them back.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Failed in less than 60 days

My car had the original starter solenoid valve for 25 years when starting problems arose. My tests showed that the solenoid valve was defective. Bought a new one because of the price yeah bad idea I should have read the reviews this one also started to sparkle before I go to battle for a new magnet I will lick my wounds and extra money for a local spend where return policy is easy and downtime is minimal or non-existent. Pros
