Discharged batteries everywhere

This device is designed to work with all types of batteries, you can choose your cut-off voltage, not like that!. You are limited to a few votes, all this will kill the battery if you don't go below 50%, I don't like going below 65-70% myself. I believe there is a setting of 22-24, after that you have a dead battery. Note that the movie settings never show the volt selection. just look on youtube

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Appearance

My inverter has decided to go nuclear on mine. As a protector, the batteries remained intact, but not at the expense of BatteryProtect. BatteryProtect shorted out and stayed closed, delivering power even when you unplugged all the wires. Luckily I have backups too. It's been less than 6 months. Also be careful who you buy it from, the Cellar_Door_Books seller (Zentra LLC) only gives the 30 day guarantee. Even though Revane does, why do I need you?

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Not Sure

Warning. NOT 100A at 24V

Please read carefully as this is advertised as a 100A continuous load unit It is then advertised separately to support 12 or 24 volt systems. However, at 24 volts these devices can only handle about 50 amps, after which they will melt and burn. Because melting is exactly what happened to the device after about 30 minutes at 26.5 volts, 49.2 amps (1303.8 watts). They should have clearly stated that this is a 1200W MAX unit. Be aware when using higher voltages and currents. I am sad and…

seems to be a reliable device, but the presets don't work for me.

Although the product seemed fairly reliable for its price, I had to return it. I didn't really catch the audio so I don't know how long it would have taken. Setup was easy enough, although initially it took me a while to figure out the wording of the instructions. But it worked when I tried it. I had to return it because while it says you can set the device to multiple on and off voltages, that's not entirely true. There are certain setpoints, and if they don't fit your application, they're…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No performance

upsell! - Inverter

-discharge. It has many settings and most of them are for lead acid batteries. The only useful setting for me is A8, which means disconnect at 12v and reconnect at 13v. At 12 V, the battery discharges quickly and only switches off after 90 seconds. I'd rather turn it off at 12.5V, but 12V is still fine. However, the device can be ideally configured for lithium batteries if you connect it to some additional and expensive devices from the same company. Good resale!

Pros
  • The Battery Protect function disconnects the battery from unnecessary loads before it is completely discharged (which can damage the battery) or before it still has enough energy to start the engine
Cons
  • zero

Victron product issues

Installed today and working as intended. I am very unhappy with Victron & Revain's marketing and lack of technical support. I ordered this device and received the version without Smart Connection. A confusing description of Revane. I have returned 5 purchases of Victron components for the same reason. I have read several technical materials from Victron. Each appears to have been written by a different engineer who never checked what the other wrote about that particular product. I found…

Outstanding protection and performance!

Very easy to install and safe to connect. turn off the load. This point was not entirely clear to me in the manual (a case of "reading" on my part). When I researched the issue on their website, everything was explained much more clearly there. I was able to discharge my LFP battery to 11V when it was set to 12V. I tested them manually and intentionally so there was no harm. Even with an open load shedding circuit, the battery charges perfectly. I was able to break a 141A load through the…
