💡 Victron Energy MultiPlus 3000VA 24V Pure Sine Wave Inverter with 70A Battery Charger Review

It was a difficult purchase. Options, price and overall performance were good. I did a lot of research but couldn't get it to work with dip switches without overloading my 3000w champion generator. I have many issues with the quality of my equipment seller and the on duty call from the so-called "expert technician" Revain. I'd just say it's overkill for most people, and like Jim said in the customer support email, it needs to be installed by someone who's worked with them.

This is a great inverter. Well built, thing weighs a ton and is sturdy. Everything from the ports to the rear panel screams quality. All in all, it annoys me that they kick you for EVERYTHING. Ve.bus to change the settings, want to see what happens without a connected PC? Buy a Bluetooth accessory. How about changing the settings on this MPPT? It's better to have a key. Great product, just be prepared to pay a premium and then more for the essential accessories that should be included.

We have taken a modified sine wave inverter off the grid for 13 years. We were happy to get a pure sine wave to run our electronics. Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 received and installed on 8th June and have since serviced all household loads. My setup allows me to make the most of the sun's energy and my battery allows me to be practically off the grid. Update 02/24/2020: Added second MultiPlus to work in parallel with the first. Very easy to set up this way. The increased power removed all overload warnings (when exceeding 2000 watts). I haven't been able to load more than 4000w yet, so not sure how that will perform, but I'm sure it will look and behave the same.
