Try a safety razor with Vulcan!

I wanted to try our safety razors as I've never been happier with cartridge razors - they quickly fall under the power of my beard, sometimes not even enough for a full shave before they start pulling more than cut. The cost is also very high; If I can only get one shave per cartridge it will cost me about $5 per shave. Not good! With a double-edged razor that costs 10 to 20 cents a blade and gives you a better, more comfortable shave? Well, it's pretty hard to beat. Another issue is that I…

Reclaim your manhood, drop a G and get a V!

After refusing to give up my "toxic masculinity" I searched for a better alternative. After searching online, razor shops and Revain for a variety of razors, I settled on the Viking Blades Vulcan razor. I can only say wow! I start in the shower, soaking her White Knight badger brush in hot water. After showering, I lather up with a brush and tear up the stubble like I'm storming a village. After that, your face will be softer than a baby's bottom! Let a good weight razor do the work, don't just

I like to shave with Vikings Blade Vulcan. This is a beautifully crafted, well balanced razor. The handle is very comfortable to hold, even with wet hands, and in combination with the Astra blades, I find the shave to be very comfortable without cuts or irritation. The starter blades that come with the shaver are marked 'MILD' and may not be suitable for everyone. However, the manufacturer clearly points out that these are knives for beginners. As I said, I use Astra blades and am very happy…

Vulcan beard trick for new users

EDIT SEPTEMBER 17, 2019: Sorry, downgrading to 4 stars. On a recent trip I had to change blades and the cocking mechanism stopped working. It seems something inside is "stripped". Luckily I had a disposable razor on hand, but I'm now optimistically cautious about using this handle in the future. I work in an area where I MUST shave every day. Waking up with a broken razor is not an option. After editing this review I will be contacting Vikings Blade for a warranty return but I am concerned that

Razor and blades didn't suit me

I ordered this DE razor as an upgrade to my Viking Chieftain DE razor as the Vulcan was intended to be a heavier version with a longer handle. For the first two days of using Vulcan DE, I got razor cuts in different places every day. On the third day I had a razor burn on my neck. I have been using the DE razor for many years now and have never had such a problem. I give Viking a 5 star rating for the quality of their products and customer support system. I noticed that the leading edge of the…

I got blown away in Razors & Blades

Wow. I wanted to refresh my shaving experience. I've had my Edwing Jagger set for years and my brush/razor/bowl needed replacing. This brand caught my eye and gave it a go and I'm so glad I did! Vulacn paired with viking blades gives me an amazing shave and I'm blown away! I was expecting to be disappointed by Jagger but damn I was so happy. Ice found my favorite razor! I know this is a touchy subject as everyone has different faces and beards but for me this is the best shave I have ever had…

A Journey to a Wet Shave: Viking Volcano vs. Mercury 23C

Like any good story, it needs a good beginning. My journey to wet shaving started with that horrible Gillette ad. I have been a long time Gillette customer for many years and purchase their razors and gels. I have never been so offended by an ad and will not support your radical SJW campaign. So first I look at their competitors like Schick or Dollar Shave Club. When I did a little research on the history of the most bladed cartridge. For years I suffered from terrible acne and ingrown hairs. I
