I wanted this to work for me; It has all the features I wanted for my iPhone 12 Mini: it enables FaceID and the ability to swipe up. But my bike has wide handlebars that won't fit in the clamp unless I take out all the spacers. Then the protection against blows would not be sufficient. Sorry for me but should work for a regular sized steering wheel.

This holder is just great once installed. I did not find the installation guide user-friendly. I installed it by fiddling until I figured it out. Easy access to all controls on my phone. I shot a good video using the phone from the handlebars of a bike. I've also used it to stream music while driving, which is obviously a little risky but shows that accessing the phone's controls is easy.

Pro It fits the steering wheel very nicely and firmly. The clip keeps my Samsung Note 8 secure even in the triple layer protective case (note) if you have a phone with a stylus in the device. Be sure to take it off before going for a walk, otherwise you will definitely lose it. There's some play at the top even if you pull the ball as hard as you can. I wanted a basic phone holder for my bike as it's electric and I like getting directions and logging speed and time. This phone holder comes with three rubber pieces in case you're fitting it to a thinner bar or tube, but for my 31.8 bar setup I didn't need to use the rubber pieces. will be able to expand it to fit most modern phones which are very wide with a case.
