Good shoes, run small

Very good shoes, but I know better: Italian shoes run small. I tried stretching them, don't know if it worked at all. Wanted to resell, failed. Now I compress my legs and they work, although a size up would be better. The ratchet on the left boot will not function after use and may need to be replaced. In general I like them.

Comfortable but the cable locking system sucks.

The dials are bullshit. I've had these for less than a year. Both dials stopped working. They rotate but no longer tighten the cable. Replacement parts are almost impossible to find in the US and incredibly expensive. In addition, the ratchet can be easily released. The lightest swipe will free him for a few clicks. The bad news is if the cable isn't tightened. It's a shame too because these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. You can spend a day in it and not regret it, apart from…

Good price. I usually use Sidi Mega and these are even bigger. The downside is the lack of adjustment of the top strap (Sidi allows you to shorten more than one buckle). There is no real way to adjust the cleat angle. The shoes work well and the bottom adjuster is amazing - easy to change on the fly. For me these shoes fit, but for others they might be far off. UPDATE: After 6 months the spike threads have snapped and there is no way to replace them. Poor durability. I have Sidi shoes that have

Great shoes in the saddle but lousy sets in rough conditions

Shoes are extremely comfortable both on and off the bike (for bike sections). It would have been a five star shoe if it wasn't for the lousy dial that came loose from the base. This has happened to me several times with both shoes. However, I'm tough on them when it comes to adventure racing - treks over land and weeds that tend to cling to the dial. If you stay in the saddle for all your rides, these shoes are great. If your travels call for a little adventure, look for shoes with adjustable…
