Super loud train horns!

First I got the Vixen Air Horn Kit as a gift. I liked it very much! I used it and after 5 years it has deteriorated. I can't complain because I used it every day! Very noisy system! Very happy with the horns!

Pros
  • nice article
Cons
  • empty

Bad through and through. good for lighting and electrical engineering

bad through and through. Passed 1/2 air line with valve. That's great. Don't listen to crappy reviews. I also made my own mount and attached it to the horns. It's as good as any train horn I've heard and for the price you can't beat it.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

Insanely happy!

Worth the Money as All Others Close Tight - Angle Bracket - Straight Air Tube w/ 96 Pit Ball Valve Control Inlet, It Screams! Anyone who says it isn't didn't install it with common sense, do it this way, I promise you'll be glad you bought it!

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Not Sure

Descending horns, bass sound

The horns were easy to install. I installed them on a school bus and used the existing air system. The horns are well made and loud enough, but the sound is much higher pitched than I expected and more like a loud car horn than a deep guttural train roar.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good quality for the price

I left the Lifespan field blank because I just installed it. I didn't use the electrical part for this train horn. sounds very good. It's mounted under my trailer so I'm not overly concerned about the durability of the finish, but it's loud and that's exactly what I wanted.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This horn is beautiful and loud

This horn is beautiful and loud. Not a real train horn, but adequate for my setup. I removed the 1/4" fitting because it was too small and attached a 150psi 3/8" hose to it and it howls! The mount is too small and flimsy so I used a piece of 2" corner iron. The horns didn't seem rolled very tight so I used some Loctite on them. I gave them 5 stars although I had a few issues with them them because you can't get a set of horns for $56 anywhere else.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
