Poor fit, poor battery, sometimes requires a reboot to find network but works and is cheap.

In general, the product did not convince me and I cannot use it. I wanted this because it was on the data-only support list for Docomo SIM resellers in Japan and I needed a backup internet connection. It works and it's good. The battery didn't fit and didn't charge, I'm glad I ordered an extra battery. The LED display is nonsense in general. It flashes between colors when one of those is needed, so you can't tell if that means it's connected or not unless you go to the web interface. The webโ€ฆ

Mifi Hotspot - ATT novatel wireless mifi

This was recommended to me by my "friend" from ATT. I was frustrated because I couldn't get decent internet service over the AT&T dial-up connection - it was too slow. Can do chores, laundry, and dishwashing while waiting for a network connection. The cable company didn't even bother to check the location - too rural for them. I had some trouble getting up and walking, but more due to my amateur status than mifi. However, when I found out - wow! It was faster than my son's wired internetโ€ฆ

Great little AP

First, I've built wireless telecom networks for all major carriers since 1996, so I'm speaking from my experience and knowledge. because my cell phone provider Sprint and its roaming partner had absolutely no service; no voice, no data available. Great Air Card Replacement

As everyone said, difficult to set up and does not charge when used. I'm glad I didn't listen to her. This is a great device. I replaced the Sierra Wireless USB connection card with AT&T because my company didn't provide me with mifi. I received it and it had a 4 step setup process. 1. Install a SIM card. 2.Install and charge the battery, you can charge it via Micro USB during setup). 3. Power on. 4.
