It works. - Interior

has been programmed. You will also need to reprogram the original for the 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. This only allows a maximum of 2 keys with one code, so both the original and this one require a new code.

What offer! Best in Keyless Entry System

The key fob was identical to my original. It costs $100 to buy a key fob and program it from a retailer. The list price for a new dealer fob and dealer programming was over $300. Lost his original keychain while going strawberry picking with his grandchildren. You must have another replacement. Love saving money!

Pros
  • Proper workmanship

Not as advertised: Anti-theft

So I bought this key for my car. Year, make and model were covered by this key. I took it from the dealer to have it cut for my car and they said this wrench would not fit my car. No exact indication. Does not apply to cars/makes/models they say they will. Please be careful when purchasing and call your retailer before receiving this keychain.

Pros
  • Smart design
Cons
  • Disappears

Great quality, fits anti-theft

These key chains are of very good quality. I have a scanner that allows key programming, but programming new keys requires a PIN associated with the VIN number. To get this information you need to register the car with the dealer with the right ID and he will give you this code, otherwise you will need either the dealer to program the key or a locksmith with this skill. Hope this helps some people.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

Revain's motto should be cautious vigilance

I bought this as a spare key for a 2013 Hybrid Sonata. The first thing you need to know is that you can't program it yourself, you have to take it to a auto mechanic . Dealers don't program aftermarket key fobs, and there's a reason for that. It was programmed in January for around $65, but it stopped working reliably a few days ago. Sometimes the machine recognizes it and sometimes it doesn't; Luckily, the key still works if you put it in the center console. However, I fear for the long-term…

Dealers/locksmiths claim it won't work, but it does.

[edit] The key fob worked well. However, be aware that unbranded headphones are very delicate and will shatter if dropped a few times. Definitely a good buy so don't discount it. Went to several different locksmiths and none of them could program the fob. I took it to a Hyundai dealer and got them to agree they would try to program it and if that didn't work, free of charge, stating that 'cheaper key fobs' don't usually work and your computer system mess up etc. excuses to get me to buy one of…
