🌬️ Volant PowerCore 150576 Cool Air Intake System Review

This seems to have improved the throttle response of my 1999 Tahoe. Sounds more aggressive when accelerating. The only complaint was that the bolts that attach the tube to the throttle body were too short. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a 30mm instead of the 25mm that came with it.

For the money the product should go with everything and be the right size. The cold air box rests against the reservoir in the rear wall and its lower part, where you insert the screws, does not line up with the clip on the wheel arch. Also, no brackets or brackets were included.

This Cold Air Intake/Filter is great for my 96-98 Chevy/GM 1500 Truck. The fully enclosed airbox still evacuates cold air from the wing wall and throttle manifold. Very smooth inner lining for air circulation. It's more difficult to remove than the standard filter box, as each time you need to remove the air intake for service, you have to remove the internal filter to access a pair of mounting screws.

Received two main parts of the set. box and inlet. As if the seller hadn't put a bag of loose change in the box. I have the stock intake bushing with major modifications until I find the bushing I need. Also didn't get the foam ring that goes around the airbox inlet. Not very happy with this purchase. I would be wary of buying this product from this seller and if I did it again I would go straight through valance at least you probably won't be scammed out of your money with them. Not that I…
