Also, it was well packaged, the product has a simple design

A noticeable improvement in sound and performance. The bottom muff was too short, I suggest using a standard accordion muff under the box. The product is not only well packaged, but also has a simple design, beautiful appearance and improved performance.

Pros
  • Filters out submicron particles up to 99.97%
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Excellent aftermarket filter

Excellent filter/air intake system. I've been impressed with Donaldson filters for over 40 years and now I have one under the hood of my truck! Not too difficult to install. The only thing I can complain about is the lid of the filter box: It's made of plastic. If something rubs on the cover, the paint will peel off. Something this good should have had a better paint job called Volant. The paint is peeling off and it looks like it's been there for years. That's why it's a four, not a five.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Fair

I had a 2002 Silverado and a 2003 Tahoe Z71. Both showed quite annoying heat build up when it gets hot, whether it's an aging intake baffle and box or whatever, the bottom line is 90-100+ days after I've been in traffic or after the car has been driven, while I'm in the workshop. (I have a pug and she needs A/C all the time) The truck runs pretty poorly - power reduces/shakes when accelerating and there is a droning sound like the engine is inhaling a large amount of air to keep the heat in the

Pros
  • Powercore direct airflow reduces pressure loss
Cons
  • Slightly torn
