Voltage Convertor 10 28V Regulator Waterproof Tools & Equipment Review

This voltage converter was a disappointment. It only worked intermittently and had no noticeable effect on my electrical system. The waterproofing seemed cheap and unreliable.

it works as expected on a snapper self propelled mower. It regulates from 12.5 to 13 volts and feeds the battery from the generator. For the wires to the generator, polarity doesn't matter since it's AC power.

The unit looked well assembled but after hooking it up properly to an old motorcycle project I am working on the unit failed within a minute. The headlight worked fine and then went out. A strange smell came from the voltage converter, as if internal components had failed. I would not recommend this device and would recommend paying a little more for better quality. Also, when I bought it the week of 7/12/2021, it was only $10. Now on 7/21/20201 they have increased the price to $16.
