Black Padded Spotting Scope Case for Vortex Viper HD 80mm, 77-82mm Scopes (Model C77-82) Review

Good for spotting scopes. It has zippered flaps that attach under the scope on a tripod with Velcro. And a front zip that does the same. Protection when you need it, aside when you use it.

Easy to carry. Sure it's not super soft, but good enough for me. I'll be careful with my scope no matter what the case. This case is lightly padded and is currently on a scope mounted on a tripod in my living room. Yes, it could be better, but at what cost? I'll let you guys know by the end of the summer if I'm still thinking about it.

Well made soft case. I had to return mine as I bought it to replace a similar sized Celestron scope but it was too short for my scope. The pouch fits the Vortex Optics Viper HD 80 scope snugly. I was able to fit the Celestron scope in the pouch, but it was too tight to zip up the end of the scope's lens. Make sure your scope fits Vortex Optics Viper scope before purchasing one for your scope.

Perfect match for my new Vortex Cabela Intrepid HD Spotting Scope (20-60x, 80mm). Sure, it's not as tight as a neoprene sleeve, but it helps keep me from shaking in my truck during hunting season. You can continue to use it while it's on - just open the front, back and bottom tripod mounts. However, Optics Planet SLLLOOOWW is included. And I don't think it's really worth $29. I'd say it's around $20 and you should be able to buy it on eBay.

I thought this would fit my Vortex Viper HD spotting scope perfectly but once the eyepiece is in the scope this product does not fit. As the Vortex logo is embroidered on both sides of the sleeve, one of the sides is sewn back to front which is a very poor design that clearly lacks quality control. It's a cheap fake that doesn't have to be up to standard. It is impossible to use it without removing the scope's eyepiece every time you close it, which in my personal opinion can lead to accidents,
