DEFECTIVE, BUYER WARNING!

I bought this as a birthday present for my 1 year old and decided to try it before packing it up. Won't turn on, changed batteries, nothing. I contacted Amazon and was told there was nothing they could do since I shipped it from the US. As a last resort, he took it to an appliance repair shop (which doesn't normally repair toys, but is tired of doing it as a favor). They sent me a photo showing THE WIRES ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY SECTION. There's no way this toy worked before it left the

Got a great price through Revain and was impressed with the quality.

I have bought several of these trains. I first bought one for Christmas 2015 for a charity event called Tree of Angels when a family in need asked for an educational toy for their 1 year old boy. I got a great price through Revain and was impressed with the quality of the toy. I loved it so much I bought another one for my 9 month old son for Christmas who just LOVES it. He particularly enjoys throwing blocks at the train and watching them slide into the attached carriages/cars. Little assembly

Read Review: Training & Education

I bought this for my son when he was about 10 months old (he is 15 months old now) and as you can see from the pictures it's not very much pleasant to drive. The distance between the seat and the steering wheel of the train is significant. At 15 months he cannot ride. He loves to spin it and play with the buttons. He likes to put lego bricks in the hole at the top and watch them fly out the back of the train. He doesn't have "speed control" on his wheels, so he often fell when he was learning…

My 1 year old granddaughter loves this train. This is one of my favorite toys. It does so many things to help toddlers develop coordination and motor skills that I can't list them all here. One of her favorite things about this toy is carrying around blocks with the letters ABC and putting them together and pulling them apart to help her learn hand-eye coordination. It also has a place where you insert blocks and it says the letter and the word the letter starts with. One last thing I would…

Both our sons love this toy

This train is one of our sons favorite toys that has kept them busy for a while. Both our 10 month old and almost 3 year old love to play with it. Our oldest loves to ride it and push it with his feet. And our youngest loves to use it as a walker when the seat is off. Both enjoy little activities that include double-sided alphabet blocks that evoke words and phrases when placed in a slot on the train. It also includes a storybook, clock, number buttons and weather/color buttons. It plays over…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other toys

I am appalled that a toy designed to teach toddlers an 'alphabet train' failed so spectacularly. The toy I received was defective. or voice recorder for different alphabets don't know their alphabets and need to go back to school to learn their alphabets. (: There are 13 alphabet blocks in the alphabet train set, with individual letters on either side of the blocks. The alphabet block placed on the block holder on the main body of the train is intended to pronounce the letter and the object…
