Black chrome! self-adhesive vinyl

I've seen new Chevy trucks with a black chrome bow tie logo. I thought it would look great on my dark gray (tungsten or iridium) 2016 Equinox. I've done the front and rear logos and the steering wheel, I still need to do the center wheel logo. I have a lot left. Choose a hot day to apply the film. It looks sharp.

Pros
  • Easy-to-apply, mess-free, venting adhesive. Lifts, cuts and moves, sticks only under pressure. Don't worry about bubbles or wrinkles.
Cons
  • Low repairability

This is not black chrome!

not black chrome plated at all! It looks more golden, the photo after installation looks a little different from the OEM golden emblem. It's said to be the most ripped vinyl I've ever worked with, not in a good way, it doesn't stretch at all making contouring extremely difficult even at high temperatures. 10/10 not recommended.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Easy to apply, make sure the knife is sharp

Fits perfectly over the original emblem. Just make sure you have a new blade in your knife and go slow. It helps if you have a hair dryer to set the trim nice and neat. Update - both the front and back peeled off after 3 months and now look awful. I finally got around to replacing it. This time I'm going to use regular black vinyl.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

waste of money and time.

Terrible, flimsy although cheap, not worth it and definitely not something I would recommend buying or adding to your car. Go into the auto zone and get a thick, durable vinyl that will last a long time, looks great and, even better, won't crack, and slightly resembles a "vinyl" that looked more like a tint. "Do it right and buy it once" just don't buy it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things
