No wrap. FAILURE EXTERIOR ACCESSORIES

I wrapped this around one of the 1946 Chevy's horizontal grille louvers when it sadly arrived. I melted, filled and sealed it and then tried to stretch the material in small curves. The heat didn't bring any lasting benefit as it returned to the creases and didn't stick. The ad says it can be stretched like "Car Wrap". It can't! (Well maybe 2%). waste of money! A flat app might work, but that's not what I bought it for. Incorrect information in the ad.

Excellent material! - Vinyl

This vinyl works great, the lines you see in some photos are on a clear protective film which must be removed before the vinyl is applied. Some reviews say it doesn't even measure up to the heat, I'm almost 100% sure those who don't manage to stretch around the corners haven't removed the transparent top film. If you still can't get it to form around the edges after removing the top layer, you probably have a fake cheap Chinese film. I'm using it as a temporary fix for the grill parts on myโ€ฆ

This is a decent package. It was a bit confusing at first because I didn't realize that there was a protective layer on the vinyl and also a backing paper. I thought that the film is easily scratched and the coating is kind of fading, but it was just a protective layer. After it is removed it has a beautiful shine. Just pay attention to imperfections in the surface it is applied to as these are very noticeable due to the reflective nature of the coating. All in all it's a decent product, theโ€ฆ

Pros and cons of vinyl

Cons: Removing the clear layer can be difficult, especially if you don't know it's there. multiple puffs, it doesn't help when it's time to glue. This vinyl does not stretch at all. Blisters and wrinkles form easily, some of which do not heal with heat. heat to allow the vinyl to function properly and degrade completely. Pros: Once you get it up and running and get the hang of it, it becomes a lot easier to use. The chrome trim itself is near perfect (even next to real chrome). The price isโ€ฆ

Awkward to use and poor quality packaging

I wasn't impressed. The backing paper was very thick and came rolled up in a flat rectangular box without a cardboard support tube in the middle. Needless to say, it collapsed and flattened, creating permanent ridges and creases in the material, making it very difficult to work with. So I took the time to smooth the material out under some weight first, but that didn't help. The heat helped, but applying this material to the inside of a 30-gallon plastic bucket was tedious given the stiffnessโ€ฆ
