I've used vinyl wrap on a few cars before so it wasn't my first rodeo but this wrap just wasn't right for anything that had a curve. It will and will stick to flat surfaces, but when I tried wrapping it on my hood with a light hardener it wouldn't stay down no matter what I tried. I ended up taking it all off and throwing it in the trash.

Garbage. Bought 3 for €80 each. $240 wasted. My fault for not trying first. As others say, it's not clear. I tried using it to protect gold and black vinyl. Gold tarnishes easily and scratches easily. It's more of a matte finish that dulls the gold and black. It was badly scratched before I was actually done. And the bubbles left a sticky residue that never dissipated when they burst. Removing the clear coat also ruined the vinyl underneath so it had to be redone.

As a result, I threw away the entire tube. I was hoping I'd done enough with 3M Rock Guard to get through something not that expensive. I first tried applying this to my truck's front bumper guard, but the slightest contour made the foil rebound. An attempt to compress it caused irreversible creases on the foil.
