No frills, but it works. Interchangeable components are good. Great for what I had in mind, something small to lubricate my boat trailer bearings with.

This grease gun is junk. He can't handle something as simple as greasing ball joints in a car. When I first used it, it started leaking like crazy at the bottom of the can, basically wasting half a container of lube. Stay away from this case.

Tool seems well made. Use in the field was previously not possible. One problem I had was that the piston seal wasn't keeping the lube in the right place, leaving a significant amount of very expensive lube behind the piston at the back of the cylinder. The grease was contaminated when cleaning the pad and spring. I removed the gasket from the piston and by changing the gasket a bit I was able to put it back on the piston. Don't need a big grease gun so I took a chance. First, it doesn't suck grease into the gun body. I should have taken the hint and stopped there.
