This fixed the problem with my broken ESC. No instructions are provided, but be aware that the screw at the top removes the case. This red button is only pressed and does not connect to the mechanics.

Would be a direct replacement for the Harbor Freight 40400 Air Compressor if drilled a threaded hole for the ground screw. Due to a knee injury I didn't want to drill and cut two holes so I ordered a different air pressure regulator from a different company.

Good switch except for lack of grounding. Very little space in the lid for large cables on my old air compressor. Just connect the ground directly to the motor as there is no ground pin on the switch. Works great after applying a small drop of oil to the RED control knob. Regulating pressure is 80 to 125 psi. Customs service.

No problems so far but others have said you have to drill holes for the bottom. I haven't had any trouble fitting the PSU case connectors as others have reported, but on HF some holes may be larger due to differences in materials used in their various models. Do not twist the air fittings as they are all cast aluminum.

I assembled all the connections with teflon tape and immediately after turning off the compressor I could hear air leaks. When using a spray gun, there were soap bubbles on each fitting, most of the liquid was blown out quickly, the fittings were tight. I redid the assembly with Great White joint sealer and the leak slowed down but still leaked on most fittings. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller

Was easy to install but as others have noted I had to drill and tap for the larger (6-32) ground screws. The pressure setting was set too high so it went over 125psi before I turned it off. I had to adjust it almost halfway to get it to 110psi. I suggest you release it 1 turn to start, then increase it in small increments. (Yes, I know it's a bit of work!) But for $11 I have a new device that should last another 30 years. The store's repair proposal was more than a new compressor.

I have a Central Pneumatic model 40400 air compressor. This unit is over 10 years old. When the pressure switch failed, Harbor Freight stated that they would no longer sell parts for that compressor. The first pressure sensor I received had the packaging partially crushed. As soon as I opened it up to check the switch, I found the lid was cracked and I could hear an object rattling in the lid, which I knew couldn't be good. The exchange and return times were amazing hence my 3 star rating. As you can see from other reviews the 2 floor brackets are missing and need drilling and tapping - but that shouldn't be a problem as you know how to put them in deep!
