Worn out, throbbing after 21,000 miles

Thought it was a good deal at first, trusted the Wagner name. Never. I replaced them with Akebono ceramics. Hopefully they're doing a lot better in the long run.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Double check everything

Not all hardware. After replacing a month later, I started hearing the front brake noise. I took it to the Toyota dealer and was told that my pads were making noise because they were sliding up and down because there was no retaining clip. $180 mistake on my part.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Very loud! in braking system

They work but are very noisy. I called the company and they said they were very aggressive. I think it's good. My son said he would wear another if I wanted to buy more. I said no. I'll take care of it. The good side is that I will never hit a man who backs down. If you can't hear me, you need to get your hearing tested.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Regular customer - brake pads

I am writing this because I have just purchased a 2nd set of OEX 1324's to replace the previously clocked 120,000 miles on my '08 Highlander. Now that the mileage is up to 191,000 miles and only 1/8 inch left, it's time to get ready for winter. 1/8th is a good thickness to consider replacing as not all sides wear evenly. They are smooth, quiet and dust-free. Reliable around town and in the mountains of Colorado. Very good value for money Revain.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • This is making me nervous

I am an ASE certified repair technician and have been in the automotive industry for 16 years. So I installed many sets of brake pads. These Wagner OEX pads squeak like any brake pad I've ever heard. I put them in our family's private car. This is a 2014 Toyota Sienna XLE. I installed these pads about a year ago; They creaked from the start and still do, especially in reverse. On pads run 8-10 km. I hoped they would sit down and stop making noise, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I also…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
