This is about what you would expect. Installation was easy enough, the kit included special grease for the back. I put them on new rotors and in 2 weeks of daily driving in rain and snow there was no squeak or noise once fitted. Decent stopping power, not the best. Build quality matches the price but again they work well and aren't noisy so I'm happy.

Excellent brake pads. Quiet and smooth, but with more stopping power when you need it. I just bought a second set for my 1991 Chevy Astro Van. The first Wagner ThermoQuiet set lasted 12 years. There was no appreciable rotor wear. In fact, the pads were still usable, but the calipers were sticking, so I immediately replaced all the disc brake parts.

They are really very quiet. When I stop slowly but completely, they don't twitch or vibrate at all. You know that little "deep squeak" you get from organic pads? Yes, none of that. Installed on a 1990 Chevrolet G20 5.7L Conversion Mark III Van. Low dust pollution now also on the front wheels. well, if there is dust, it is off-white, not black. I recommend. Much less $$ than local auto parts stores.

I've tried several of these on different machines and can't say anything bad. I can't believe they are so cheap here at Revain. I've also had good luck with Bendix ceramics, but they seem to cost more. The ThermoQuiet pads stop my cars with no problem. One of them is a roughly 5,000-pound station wagon with crappy rear drum brakes. No noise, no dust. At around $25, it's a steal. The sound deadening pad is riveted on the back to prevent slipping.
