Quiet and durable

I installed these brake pads on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2 years ago and they have worked great. Immediately after installation I drove to Colorado in a jeep and they worked perfectly in the mountains. I don't hear any brake noise either. I recently inspected them and there were a lot of pads left. They should easily last another year and a half.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Expensive

Straight ahead: Parts

They fit as they should and I had no problems installing them. They look nice and quiet and break as expected. The only reason I give them four stars is because after installing them I found that my local auto parts store had the exact same product with a lifetime replacement guarantee so I will no longer be purchasing them through Revain.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Problems

Jeep JK - ThermoQuiet QC1273 - updated

Update: I've had them installed for two weeks and am replacing them. I don't like her at all. I installed them on the front of a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I don't want this to be a negative review, it appears to be quality products. The ears are too big for calipers, so I had to use a grinder to remove about 1/16 inch from all three sides of the ears on all the rails. I've never had problems like this with the brakes. pads in front. Now that they're on, they look good. Maybe I'll buy a differentโ€ฆ

Four stars for the brake pads

So far, so good. There's no brake dust and they're pretty! The best part - MADE IN USA! ** Updated 06/03/2016. When I first pull away and hit the brakes, they squeak like I've never heard them before. The grip doesn't seem to be very good either. They have been tested and may just need to buy another brand. I installed them on my 2007 Dodge Nitro and am disappointed that these US made brakes may need to be replaced with Chinese ones. Also disappointing is the fact that the seller hasn'tโ€ฆ

Easy installation, new hardware, but not silent.

I've never paid anyone to work on brakes so I've done a few over the years with different brands, different makes and models. Installation was easy, new hardware was included. Always clean the attachment points of the gear and make sure the new gear is secure. The protrusions at the end of the pad needed a bit of filing as there were some flaws in the casting process that didn't allow free movement. The drive pins and brake boots were cleaned and reapplied with new 3M 08946. anti-squeak greaseโ€ฆ
