Excellent braking performance, but there is noise.

I installed it on my 2013 JK Rubicon. The fit was perfect and new clips were included. I have smeared brake grease on the back of the pads and applied brake grease to the caliper studs, but even after that I still hear brake noise, mostly when stopping with cold brakes. Once they heat up, they seem to disappear. Braking power seems really good, which I think is the most important thing. Without the noise I would have given 5 stars.

Buy now at a better price and they arrive fast with my Prime membership.

I've been using the Wagner ThermoQuiet range on some of my Jeeps for a while. Previously purchased locally through Advanced Auto Parts. As the owner of 5 they have proven their quality and are the main reason for my continued use and recommendation. Typically, TQ pads come with the anti-squeak pad, fasteners, and lubricant pre-installed. Now I buy at a better price and with my Prime membership they arrive quickly which saves me time.

Thermo "Not like that " Quiet

They arrived quickly and were easy to install. I didn't notice any noise at first, but after a few weeks I started hearing an occasional high-pitched noise when braking. It's not at every stop, but it will happen multiple times per trip. It reminds me of a dog whistle that can be heard a little. It's a little annoying, but I mostly only notice it when my windows are down and there's no music playing. However, I liked that all hardware was included, the old metal clamps were rusted on the…

Fits perfectly. Beat the dealers

Perfect. Higher quality than OEM. Installed in 7 minutes. The dealer wanted $60 for the pads only, not a hose, but to examine your car. Now I have a second set. They last as long as the factory 37k (oddly on my 3rd pair of rear wheels and still on my 1st set of fronts, but that's the BLD for you. Note BLD seems to prefer the passenger side (lots of meat left on the driver) if you hear that squeak or approaching 37k replace them ASAP or buy rotors as well no joke factory mileage was 37k so…

Great pads at a great price!

I ordered these for my 14 Wrangler and not only are they well below what I could get at my local auto parts store, they are really quiet! I read some reviews and was a little worried about the noise that might be here, but not on my set. It took about 15 minutes per side to buckle up and be sure to oil the back of the pads and ears. My factory pads are almost gone so they help slow my huge jeep like stock. Also, I don't notice any more dust than stock. Maybe less! If you really want a lot of…

There used to be no such problems

So the linings came quickly and undamaged. I finally got around to installing it today. Stupid rain! From the driver's side it was bam-bam, thanks ma'am, a test. On the passenger side it was a completely different story. The inner lining lay on the piston. The outer pad was a hell of a nightmare. Somehow the casting was too big on the ears. Tried everything in the world to get it but to no avail. If you measure it with the old pad you can see the difference. Purchase from Revain meant a…
