Walbro GSS341 Fuel Pump Review

I ended up returning the fuel pump but I fitted it to my fuel pump. This would be the perfect replacement for my old Walbro GSS341.

This pump saved us from having to wait 2-3 months for Saab to take their fuel pumps off the order. It went well with a 2007 Saab 9-5 along with a 400-766 fuel pump kit.

I ordered this pump on Thanksgiving Monday and received it on Wednesday. I was amazed at how quickly she got here. However, I ordered the wrong part so now I need to return it so I will update the return process as soon as I have information.

The maximum running time of a car that I have restored is 3 hours. Develops no more than 20psi with light acceleration in first gear. Restores 40psi with key on engine off. Hangs again on restart. They quickly sell you another product. .but feel free to provide warranty information. The pump is 2 months old. Buy Rockcars when you shop online!

Bad experience. my appearance was different than the Walbro (same part number) I order from Summit. I will continue to pay a higher price for quality. The one from Amazon worked the full 3 seconds or so before making a noisy transducer and then stopped working and started heating the wires. An internal short circuit also occurred when connecting to the workbench manually. I'm glad it was submerged - could have burned the wire and burned my car!
