🚲 Wald Universal 26-Inch Bike Kickstand Review

I bought this for an old American Murray 26" bike. I think this footrest is too short for this bike, it allows leaning a lot. So I guess my opinion is that it's not for a 26 inch bike

I read the reviews before purchasing this stand. So I ordered a 26" stand. IMPRESSIVE! Fits perfectly! Very nice and durable. It's on my 1961 Huffy 24" bike. and excellent value. .Super easy to install.

I ordered it for a 26" bike but it fits well on a 24" bike which is disappointing hence it only gets 2 stars. This is a good solid steel stand that is great. The only problem here is that someone in China didn't understand the difference between a 24" bike and a 26" bike.

I like the footrest but it's too short for 26" Hybrid. It's designed for 24" bikes. Also I find that the bigger tires on add extra height to a hybrid bike so I sent it back and replaced it with a 27" model and it fit perfectly.

We struggled to find a longer and stronger footrest for my daughter's bike. The bike is a little heavy in the front (Novaro by REI) and the footrest that came with the bike and others couldn't keep the bike upright. This stand fixed that immediately. I would have given 5 stars if the screw that came with it wasn't too short. I saw what was mentioned in other reviews and they are correct. Luckily I had the same screw but longer and it worked great.

Some write that this stand doesn't deserve to be on a modern lightweight bike. I bought two Diamondback bikes (for my kids), not cheap! The bikes didn't come with footpegs, so I bought an "adjustable" lightweight Schwinn footpeg. Looking at this I'm new, it will take about 6 months. and so it is. Reviews are correct that this item is too short! I ventured out with a 26" kickstand for a typical 20" kids BMX bike. (i.e. the tire is 20″ in diameter and fits well but is still a little sloped for my taste. I ended up buying the size 27″ and I have to say it is the right size for this 20″ BMX.
