Won't hold up to washing

Update 4/30/2020: Now that these rugs have been washed a couple of times they just couldn't hold up anymore. The fibers became tangled, with threads, hair and debris twisted so tightly I had to cut them out. Now they look terrible. My advice: do not wash these carpets. ***Original review: I love these rugs! I've been looking for bathroom rugs for years. I bought 4 or 5 others and wasn't really happy with any of them. Those are the first ones I really liked. They are so silky soft and luxurious!

Matt material after 5 months.

Matte material - I really liked these rugs at first. After 6 months, the material will become matt where you step. I followed all wash and dry instructions. I even tried cleaning the matte material, it didn't work. Disappointed as color and softness are good. I contacted the manufacturer who said the warranty is one year. There have been email correspondences but they have not yet been replaced or refunded. I offered to send them back. You can see where I was refunded another color which Iโ€ฆ

So fluffy and soft under my fingers but the fibers just don't hold up even after a few washes.

Upgrade: Downgraded to 3 stars as carpets do not hold up after 3 washes. The rich carpet fibers have become tangled and no longer look pretty in my bathroom. Still soft under my feet though and the rubber backing is holding up so far. Original post: I bought a set of 2 bath mats (wax blue), 20 x 24 U Contour Rug and 20 x 32 Bath Mat. I really like these rugs and will keep this brand in mind if I need more bathroom rugs in the future. Very soft under my tutis! The rubber base of the mats feelsโ€ฆ
