CORROSION RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL -- The only broad-market muffler with 100% stainless-steel construction that delivers longer life versus aluminized mufflers while an internal drainage system reduces moisture collection. EASY TO INSTALL -- Direct-fit bolt-on replacement solution with OE-style hangers, brackets and pipe routings for easy installation and doesn't require specialized fabrication and/or welding. BUILT TO LAST -- Internal partitions and mechanically joined tubes allow expansion and contraction during temperature changes to minimize distortion while spun-locked heads and OE-style spot welds provide stability and longer service life. PREMIUM ACOUSTIC CONTROL -- OE-style louvered tubes lower noise levels while OE-style domed heads help reduce radiated noise for premium factory-style sound quality compared to straight perforated tubes. DESIGN VALIDATED -- Acoustic and flow tested for quality OE-style sound you can count on.

UPDATED - Heavy Duty Parts & Accessories

UPDATED 10/22/18 I tried TWO of these mufflers when they rotted on me. The outer casing is not stainless steel and will rust quickly. I bought it hoping the stainless steel construction would make it last longer, but it didn't. The OEM muffler lasted from 2001 to 2013 and this part will not last more than 3 years. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The sound of my wife's car has changed a lot. Very quiet silencer. Stainless steel is a big plus for any exhaust system.

Muffler has rust spots

Yesterday I looked under the car and saw that there were a lot of small rust spots on the underside of the muffler. He is less than 1 year old. Disappointed. Now I see Walker selling this muffler cheaper as the Sound FX and in steel and as the Quiet Flow in stainless steel. I bought stainless steel but I think I got steel. I can't know right now, but I work with stainless steel items on a daily basis and they don't rust like they do now. If I replace this, I'll buy it locally from an Autozone…

3rd Strike in Exhausts and Parts

3 strikes and you're out. This is the third part I have received from Walker to replace the entire exhaust system on my 1998 Camry 4cyl. NONE of them will fit, and this one doesn't have a notch on the flange for the gasket, so the flanges from the muffler and the pipe with the resonator (which has its own problems) don't touch - meaning there could be a leak there one day. Haven't seen how bad it fits, but the Walker Y-tube I bought a few months ago required a lot of modifications to make it…
