Please check if you are also purchasing a catalytic converter kit before ordering separately.

I purchased this gasket to use as a replacement for installing a 15634 Walker catalytic converter (from Revain) on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ (NOT Grand Cherokee). The information provided at the time of purchase indicated that this gasket was suitable for my application, but when it arrived I found that it was NOT suitable for this converter (too large), let alone Walker MADE A SUITABLE one GASKET SUPPLIED for this converter . when you buy it (and to top it all off, it also arrived crumpled andโ€ฆ

Poor delivery method

The seal is fine but it was wrapped around the pipe ordered. This is a fairly stiff pad and shouldn't be wrapped that tightly. I had to iron out the wrinkles in the lining. I expect the gasket to be wrapped in a larger diameter bubble wrap. and not at the end of the pipe, where road users cause damage. For the price I would like a flat gasket.

Good product but a bit fragile.

I bought this gasket from a well known company and I admit it is a good product. But it's easy to break. I bent it a bit which gave a crease. I thought it would still work fine. When I finished installing the exhaust, I noticed that it was noisy. After a few weeks I took the gasket out and noticed that it was leaking where the crease had been. *** A simple solution to a better seal is to purchase Mr. Aus Gasket Material from your local parts store and make it yourself. This material is highlyโ€ฆ
