I bought this gasket from a well known company and I admit it is a good product. But it's easy to break. I bent it a bit which gave a crease. I thought it would still work fine. When I finished installing the exhaust, I noticed that it was noisy. After a few weeks I took the gasket out and noticed that it was leaking where the crease had been. *** A simple solution to a better seal is to purchase Mr. Aus Gasket Material from your local parts store and make it yourself. This material is highly flexible and thicker than traditional gaskets, allowing for a better seal. It was easy to cut and now my exhaust is quiet again. In addition, you have a contract for another project. It worked fine for me so thought I'd share it just in case someone else is clumsy enough to bend this pad.
