Walker 35412 Spring Bolt Kit

Walker hardware worked great with the exhaust muffler purchased at the same time. We had to replace an exhaust system because the technician who had previously installed the system had welded both the mating surfaces and the hardware. Perfect replacement for 1996 Subie Impreza OBS.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Great OEM replacement.

Looks like a direct OEM replacement. The quality looks and feels good and would be great for OEMs. I took them to ride my Impreza and they were too short. I will keep them anyway until I decide to go back to the stock exhaust (due to smog or car sale).

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Something different

Long enough for flange to flange, but too short for ball flange

They're long enough for your typical flange-to-flange connections that use a fiberboard gasket to seal, but they're too short for things like a spherical flange that have enough metal parts embedded between them. two flanges and the flanges are separated by a finger width or more.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Not sure

NO replacement for Subaru

Used on 2005 Forester. They are smaller than OEM, the springs are weaker. They can work if your exhaust is perfectly aligned, but how often do they do, especially when using aftermarket products. I ended up reusing MOST of the old original 15 year old Subaru bolts which were surprisingly still good. I wish the Walker product was better but unfortunately not.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Faulty

Exact replacement, works great.

I needed to replace the exhaust system on my 2004 Subaru Forester with a rear mounted catalytic converter and I suspected I would end up destroying the rusted original spring pins. I was right. This is a perfect replacement for the original and the matching screw heads are exactly the same as the original (nice as I didn't have to keep track of more than two keys).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

everything is glued together nicely. If you're a purist

Only 4/5 simply because Revain's fitting system says it will fit a 2000 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5L - they can work with a 100% Walker system though they will not fit an OEM rear pipe (pipe with resonators to the muffler); You must use washers if you want to use them. The bolt is barely flared enough so you have to put in a washer first before sliding it into place, and then another as the spring will sink into the hole without a washer on the inside of the rear tube. As I said, if you use two…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I have a 2003 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I used this along with the new gasket on the outlet flange of the catalytic converter where it is hits The resonator The old gasket was badly worn, resulting in a large and unpleasant exhaust leak (noise, vibration, smell) I replaced the gasket with a Walker gasket and rounded the spring bolts with them, but the vise saved the situation along with a generous dose of penetrating oil. - sticks to the threads. Only problem is not a perfect seal. The car…

Pros
  • cool product
