Enhance Vehicle Performance with Walker Exhaust 35819 Exhaust System Hanger Review

Perfect replacement for the original rear exhaust bracket on an '81 Jeep J20. Things are getting hard to find. ****** ******

Didn't fit my 1992 Cherokee perfectly (the holes in the rubber are narrower on older models) but I was able to pierce the rubber so the part is usable.

But the original has a ridiculous design. Threading these screws and then tightening them in a clearance-free space is a real challenge. What should have been easy was actually a pain. It's not the seller's fault that Jeep designed such a ridiculous hangar with an exhaust pipe.

According to the website this item was a suitable part for my 1995 Jeep Cherokee but it was not. The hole spacing was not the same as the original part, nor was the metal part as long (hence the hanger did not allow the exhaust pipe to hang down in its original position. I ended up having to order the correct replacement part from my local Jeep dealership.

This is definitely NOT for a 1995 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It will not fit other years with the same exhaust configuration. It also does not come with the hardware shown in the picture. It doesn't resize properly like other people have said in their reviews, it's too long and too narrow for the job, redrilling the hole puts them too close to the edges. The photo shows the correct part on the left.

I wish I could read these reviews first. We ended up buying the part from the dealer (only an extra $1.50) and shipping that part back to the Walker. The dealer part is much better, it goes with it! However, no screws or plates are included.
