The van works well, the computer is fine, the engine is not lightweight. Don't be afraid of the emissions test. I took a 3 inch pipe and some clamps from peppy boys. Saving $60-70 difference from direct fit. Got a table saw and made a Gother. 1992 GMC 3500 station wagon 8500 lbs.

Matches my 1994 GMC Safari Van perfectly. I was hoping for a noticeable change in performance, but that didn't happen. If my emissions levels improve on the next smog test, that's the deciding factor if it gives the desired results.

Bought to replace a Magnaflow cat. Followed my friend's burglary recommendation and easily passed the smog test. Drive it 100 miles before testing. Freeway basically to get really warm (You'll smell it, which is good, meaning it warms up and activates the core. The smell goes away.) Chevy Blazer 5.7L TBI, 4wd, 1991

installed on my chevy k1500 93 years old. There were emissions dips with NOx exceeding 1800 ppm. It was loud 1200 or 1400 ppm. After installation, my Nox dropped to 2ppm and 15ppm in the Dino test. There was ZERO CO2 across the board and HC were in the 20's. This truck has struggled to get through the past 4 years. Replaced everything related to emissions before this 3-way cat was installed. I failed local emissions tests on my 1994 Chevy C2500. Replaced the worn out Kat with this one and went through with no problems. In California, fortunate enough to live here, aftermarket cats are backed by executive-order vehicles by CARB, or maybe BAR; who knows flip.
