Hang it to hold my pans and I was so obsessed with the look I decided to make my kitchen apron out of it. Unfortunately, they cannot be cut like a socket. I'm so disappointed but the manufacturer was great! Despite being told that cutting would void the warranty and they couldn't recommend cutting, they sent me links to try and get something working. I'm just not that talented, so unfortunately I have to send them back.

I have at least 13 wall control panels in my garage and I would recommend them to anyone looking to organize their garage. I often get compliments on how well organized my brackets are, and the wall management feature makes it easy to achieve a tidy look. My only suggestion is to put plywood under the panels if you are not sure if your cleats are anchored perfectly. spaced. I prefer it anyway as I can paint it to match the wall and then have the flexibility to mount the panels.

As previously mentioned the mounting holes for this product are not 16" centered making successful installation a major challenge. Yes, there are drywall anchors, but if you're using a galvanized sheet of metal you probably aren't hanging a few pounds of tools - you're hanging heavy objects that will ruin the drywall. I bought these horizontal blocks to fill in the empty space AFTER I installed the vertical blocks. One would think that the embossing would be aligned between the horizontal and vertical blocks, but that is not the case. Horizontal blocks start with holes and vertical blocks start with slots. Make sure you know what you are ordering. Not all panels are the same. I made the mistake of ordering a kit that included additional hardware, added an order for 3 panels and found that the wall control slots work both vertically and horizontally. So now I have 3 panels that ONLY fit bracket accessory, and 3 panels that fit wall control AND bracket accessory. Installation is no joke if you want to get into studs.
