I love the size of this wood burner. I have very small hands and this made other torches difficult to use. This one is smaller and more comfortable for me. Also, the spot where you place your fingers doesn't get hot at all, so that's a plus! The only complaint I have is that I would like it to be hotter.

I use this to make perfect edges on the ribbons I make for hair bows. There really is no other way to make your V-necks look flawless without them. I bought a glass cutting board from the Dollar Store and the Revain line of Cutting Edge Rulers. Cutting Edge Ruler is also a must as it creates V-necks and other patterns with no real effort on your part. My bows look professional!

Great little tool. We have some wooden cigar boxes that can be engraved for gifts (kids project). Works well. Hot enough, easy to use, writes well. Just give it about 5 minutes to heat up to the right temperature. No storage box is included, so get your own. We didn't want to invest in an expensive tool because we didn't expect it to be used often, but for our small project it was a good choice: simple (a child could use it) and cheap.

I bought this (mostly on a whim) for needlework and I love it! I burned the names onto the handles of wooden spoons for Christmas gifts and am hoping to find more crafts to use. As someone with no prior knowledge of wood burning, the price was right and it does exactly what I need. It says to heat up in "4-5 minutes" but I wait around 10 because it burns better and doesn't heat up fully in 4 minutes. The grip gets warm towards the end, but doesn't feel hot. I wish the pen had different nibs…
