Best Steak Ever - Specialty Appliances

The best steak I've ever cooked. I felt weird the whole time like I had to turn the meat or check the temperature but no, this guy kept exactly 0.5 degrees from what I chose. The timer is nice. Easy to use. I'm in love with this car. Takes up little space!

Great features in specialty devices

Three features I really like: 1) Pistol grip opens the "jaws" to make attaching the device to the water tank quick and easy 2) Temperature and set time are easy and quite intuitive, and 3) the "face" is angled so it can be read from across the room.

Very happy good for kitchen and dining room

I am very happy with this sous vide. I didn't need one that had to be connected to my cell phone/internet. It's quiet and works pretty well. I just cooked a 3 pound roast beef yesterday at 125 degrees for 6 hours, browned it in the 475 degree oven in a few minutes and it was absolutely perfect. I will rely on that, hopefully for years to come!

Cannot ask for more

I have read about sous vide for a long time but the price of many units put me off. However, this is very cheap. On the first try, I put in two filet mignon, about 2-2.5 inches thick. Set sous vide to 125 degrees and leave for an hour. Love the fact that I could let it sit for 2 or 3 hours (or more) without even bothering. I think it's great that I can use this without an app!

I've wanted to try cooking with sous vide technology for a long time. I researched many brands and decided I just don't want to deal with being forced to use an app to use a device! I never have to turn on the stove remotely as leaving raw meat in a basin of water for several hours just doesn't suit me. You don't have to rely on a running application either. I received my Wancle sous vide circulator in time. The quality and finish of the device is excellent, I am satisfied with the purchase and the price I paid for it. So far I have prepared three main dishes from sous vide recipes. First course was a New York strip steak from Sam's Club, cooked at 129 degrees F for 2 hours, vacuum packed.
