My cat had a serious issue wolfing down food. This bowl was made for dogs it appears; as the "puzzle pieces” within go up just below the lip.The bowl is about 1-1.5 inches deep. I ordered the smallest size with the hope that it would work for my cats - or at the one cat who gorges & gags. Yes, pet lovers, you know what I mean. I'm sure it would be great for a med or large/small dog but it was simply too deep for my large domestic short hair cat.

Very nice product. It helps our chihuahua slow down when she eats. The anti skid feature needs something more though to keep the bottom of the bowl from sliding around when my dog eats. I found the little black parts that is supposed to keep the bowl from sliding all around our kitchen floor( they had come off the bowl). Our dog had carried the bowl around in her mouth and chewed on it. The bowl still serves it’s purpose though. My husband wants me to order a second bowl for our other dog.

I bought this bowl to slow down my small dog from eating so fast and it has worked well. I initially had a problem with the top piece coming off then realized that you have to turn it to secure it. I has stayed in place since then. I like that fact that it is not flat and moves since it slows her eating down.

Pretty cute bowls which serve their purpose well. I took off one star because they are so light in weight, my kitten manages to knock them around and splash water everywhere. Much better on carpet.

I got this bowl in hopes of it helping a new rescue I took in, slow down eating. She is a Pitbull/Boxer mix and was saved so she was gulping down her food and choking. I ordered this bowl. We have a pair of food driven cats who tend to eat too fast. We bought one of these to try with them. It did not work for our cats. They had a heck of a time getting their dry food out of the feeder and were clearly getting very frustrated with it. After a month we gave up and gave the cleaned bowl to a charity.

We bought this to try to slow down how our cat eats. She gobbles up everything in her dish, then goes and throws up somewhere and comes back to us hungry. I actually use this for my cat. Overall I am happy with how sturdy it is and it's nice for my cat to have a replenish of water. I am disappointed in the suction cups! They don't work very well on the flooring I have in my kitchen. I've tried a couple of different tricks to get them to stick but I think they're just a little too small. The cat can't really tip this over like she has with her other food and water bowls, but it does stay upright which is definitely a plus.

It works great to slow down my Frenchie however it didn’t come w any grip on the bottom so the bowl slides all over the floor. It’s hard for her to eat when the bowl is moving all over.

This bowl is just what I was looking for. My dog has a tendency to simply swallow his food. It seems this bowl actually makes him chew. Definitely makes it impossible for him to simply swallow all his food in one gulp.

This is a great product for $13 and helps with our stupid cat who kept dumping over the old food and water bowls.Just a couple things though. Mine only can with one stainless steel bowl, not two like in the picture. Not a big deal, just an FYI.The second thing is DON'T BE AN IDIOT LIKE ME AND WASH THE WATER BOTTLE IN THE BOTTOM OF YOUR DISHWASHER! I shriveled mine up like a damn raisin. Sigh.

I really like the design however it makes me sad that my kitten moves this bowl around so much. I got this a few months ago so I have the version without the pads at the bottom and I have to constantly move the bowl back to its original place. It is easy to clean and pretty to look at but now I’m thinking I new to buy something more heavy duty. I really want to keep this though :( has anyone figured out a way to keep this in place? I don’t want to put an ugly mat under it.

I have a small Pup he is very picky too. I bought this hoping he would take to it. An he did. I really like the fact that the food dish can be removed & washed. An the self water part was the main reason I bought it. My pups on the hyper side so he drinks a lot. He has 2 water bowls an they both stay empty no matter how many times I fill them. Bought this for my mastiff mix puppy who was inhaling her food and this works great on making her actually slow down and chew. The only thing I don't like is that the lip of the bowl comes off way to easily. other than that great product!

I have had mine close to a month now and it has really shown its worth, no more finding bowls where’s they shouldn’t be and food and water all over. The size of the product is a lot smaller then what you would picture but luckily I have a small dog and the size is perfect but not meant for dogs larger then 50lbs, the water resvoir holds a decent amount and it’s best the fill the water bowler before loading the bottle if you want it to last. This is a good little feeder. I only gave it 3 stars because possibly for monetary reasons, they decided not to include a metal bowl for the water section. Because there is no bowl for the water you have to take the dry feeder out of the unit to clean the water part. The water constant refill is a good idea. I feel like this is definitely geared more towards dogs with bigger kibble pieces. I tried to use this with my cat, thinking that the big size would be easier. Not only was the bowl too deep for her, the openings were so narrow that she couldn't fit a paw or her snout in. Material seems to be sturdy and it's a pretty big bowl, just not right for my cat.

The bowl itself was really good. I wouldn’t recommend getting for a cat unless they show signs of being able to handle eating out of a bowl like this. My cat was really frustrated and could not figure the bowl out. The bowl is kinda hard to clean as food get stuck at the bottom and it’s hard to go in deep and scrub it out. Otherwise, overall good bowl. Would buy again for future dog, not cats.
