I like this winch: Exterior accessories

I bought this winch a while ago and haven't regretted it yet. This winch was pulled by the local towing company using a hydrological winch. I love this wind!

So far so good Best in exterior accessories

My third Warn winch. Seems faster than my old x9000i and much faster than my M12000. I warn you, the quality is excellent, I almost switched to a Chinese winch, I'm glad I wasn't wrong. Synthetic rope is not sold yet. Easy to use but the main problem is that the rope is shorter and there seems to be little space on the drum.

Warn 9.5XP in Winds

After too many traffic jams, I thought about buying a winch for a long time. I researched and researched further. 9.5XP has always been considered number one. It made me pull the trigger and I haven't looked back since. On the first day of use the winch had 3 large pulls (probably just over 9500 pounds each time) and worked flawlessly. I'm confident that this winch will take me wherever I need my Tacoma.

Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great winch, just maybe a little big for what you get.

This winch is great. Certainly a 5 star product. However, its performance was somewhat disappointing. Oh sure, the line speed is faster than most without a load, the pull is as it should be, and the fit and finish is great. What's wrong? In fact, my old Warn M8000 is just as good. I'm just not sure if the winch costs almost $1,000 more. The internal layout seems about the same between the two. As good as this thing is, I have a feeling it's best for draining the wallet. Winch M8000. I still…

Old reliable on winches

I have had this winch for about 5 years now. Was a real workhorse, first towed my full size Bronco and after I sold it I installed it in my Jeep Rubi. Has a very, very high line speed. About two years ago my winch motor burned out while pulling out a partner with a winch on a muddy road. Oh, not such a big winch you say? Well, I found out later that this was my own fault for improperly installing the winch without disconnecting the bottom drain holes (read the instructions!). Water has…

Wow, what a winch! - Exterior Accessories

With the right tools and lifting gear I was able to install this winch myself with the Warn Hidden Holder over the weekend. I could probably do it in a day if I had an extra pair of hands. I pre-tensioned (i.e. stretched) the wire rope prior to first use, and during that effort I got my first taste of just how fast the rope speed of this winch was. I am very impressed. The design of the winch appears to be bulletproof. Fit and finish are fantastic. And this is Warn, known for its durability and
