    I am impressed! - Wood Spatula

    I have never used wood spatula so I read reviews of several products and this product got the highest rating. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was really easy to use. You can use a spatula or even your fingers. It doesn't try too fast, so you can apply it to multiple areas and still have time to come back to smooth it out and clean up your lines.     Great product, poor packaging from Revain

    Received in an envelope. When I opened it, the lid came off the jar and was broken in 4 places. Wooden spatula was all over the envelope. Yes. Luckily I had a bottle on hand and pulled it out of the envelope. It was quite dirty but washed off easily with water. I put it on a test pattern and it got pretty dark. It dried quickly and I could barely see where I was using it. Fast sand, and he was practically invisible. I've used it for little pauses on an item I'm building and it's invisible. It…

    Really good fountain pen!

    Great product! But like any woodwork, it requires skill. I filled in where the puppy had chewed the railing all the way up. To fix this, I added more than needed so it bubbled a bit. I then took a hard plastic bristle brush and sanded it down, being careful to apply pressure to the deepest part of the patch and not the original wood around it. I brushed in the direction of the grain. Once I got a nice looking wood grain I sanded the entire area with a fine sanding block to make it smooth except

    Great Product - Instructions can be confusing for beginners

    This is a great product if you know how to use it and what it can be used for. Many people have given negative reviews because: 1. Mixing 1:1 creates a watery mass that is too difficult to work with. - I personally think that a 1:1 ratio of water to filler is too aggressive as a starting point. You only want to add enough water to bypass it. Ultimately, it should look/feel like dirt. And I personally prefer it a little drier (it gives you less time to spread it before it dries, but it's easier…

    I was reluctant to try water-based wood putty after failing to revive two cans of solvent-based putty and having no choice but to throw them away.
