The product doesn't last! Low quality.

I should have paid more attention to the 11% 1 star reviews (so far). I was lucky, the sunset/dawn/timer functions worked for 10 months before they stopped working. I cannot recommend this product if more than 1 in 10 buyers claim that the product fails after a few days or months. I have chosen a mechanical timer over many of the newer electronic devices because I tend to prefer simple, multi-functional products. I would have thought a review of this type of device would be trivial to waste time writing, but I value feedback so I thought I'd offer my two cents. I use it for outdoor Christmas lights. works great. I like the Dusk + x Hours feature as it turns the light on at dusk and off again 6 hours later. Just know where you will use it. I first put it next to the garage door to turn on the Christmas lights at dusk and turn them off after 6 hours. But I found that when I pulled out of the garage at night, the headlights would trigger a sensor to turn the lights off, then the lights would come back on as soon as I pulled out of the driveway.
