Waterproof Plastic Electronic Enclosure Instrument Electrical Review

This enclosure is not worth the money. There are too many issues with the quality of the plastic, and it's simply not reliable. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with Tools and Home Improvement, I can say that this is one of the worst enclosures out there. The only pro is that it is waterproof. However, that does not make up for the poor construction material. Avoid buying this product at all costs.

The box works as it should. The only thing that confuses me is that the four screws holding the cover are not stainless steel. Two months on the road and the bolts have rusted. A simple solution to connect your local equipment and replace with stainless steel mounting screws.

Pros: - Box is ok, price is ok - Can be drilled or cut in plastic, behaves correctly. Cons: - Delivery took more than 3 weeks, this is expected from China - Color is rather beige, not very good - Feels like plastic - One box came with light scratches. Otherwise I now buy cases from polycase.com, they are made in the USA and cost about the same, with better plastic. Cardboard is ok, price is ok, color and plastic could be better
