Terrible burnout. I had 2 and both suffered from burnout immediately. I had the exact settings that Waveshare publishes for the Pi, initial launch is fine, then it crashes and there's no way to fix it afterwards. Either there's a bad batch that suffers from burning, or they're just plain bad. In any case, I'd recommend staying away until Waveshare sorts this out. The recorded image is retained even after disconnecting the HDMI cable.

Fragile display. When trying to install the operating system with NOOBS, the Raspberry PI 3 crashed several times. Now the NOOBS images are written to the LCD, the raspberry boots in console mode (as I wanted), but the NOOBS setup screen is written permanently to the crystal's memory (ghost image on the LCD). I have attached a photo. The display is on, but the HDMI input is not connected.

I highly recommend avoiding the 7"(c) display. I ordered this because capacitive screens are easier to use to select items on the screen. If I had bought a resistive type I would have to press a little harder. I actually have a 5" resistor so I know the difference. This display was supposed to be used for my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ but I had to move it again. I'm just not happy with this product.
