Weaver Leather GettaGrip Saddle Pad Review

This is a great rug that is easy to clean and good value for money. It was recommended to me by a riding instructor and I was not disappointed.

I love this rug! This is my second and I highly recommend it. Keeps the saddle in place, doesn't sweat as much as some pads and is really easy to clean.

Super thin! Do not use alone. To be honest I've had this thing for many years and have never used it under saddle. I've only used it when I was out bareback, but I still have horse sweat on my butt. I really feel this is a bad product. I don't think it was worth the dollar. Especially since I've never used it.

After only a few rides the neoprene started to wear out. I even took the fenders off the saddle to see if that would help and it's worn down to the bottom in two places. It's a great pad, my horse seems to like it, just wish it was reinforced where the stirrups are.

I like this saddle pad. It's well contoured, well padded and completely washable by simply rinsing it out with a hose. The padding inside can be removed by opening the Velcro fasteners on the top and can be cleaned thoroughly or left out if not much padding is required. It's PVC, which means it's also non-slip and cooler than wool pads. It took me a while to receive it, but it was worth the wait!

This pillow is easy to clean and has removable padding. I have at least 4 of these pads and will continue to buy them until they are nowhere to be found. They make an afternoon horseback ride feel like you're driving a Rolls Royce with the windows down! The comfort is superb on this pillow and it's a shame Weaver isn't promoting it more.

Firstly, this is NOT a leather accented sticky mat as the product name might suggest; this is Naugahyde. And where Naugahyde is, the notebook is cut and bound. The bottom edges of the Naugahyde are not hemmed or tied to prevent tearing or curling. The Naugahyde is spinning out of the box and I haven't even put it on my horse yet. =o( We all know that Naughyde does NOT breathe on horse hair. I'm a bit disappointed with the quality but the sticky part of the lining itself seems thick and pretty…

A crappy imitation Weaver came in. I don't understand how the seal I received can be the same that has positive reviews. In my case, the material is piled up on one side of the neckline, loose layers and a cheap faux leather fabric with an unhemmed edge that runs down about a foot on each side. I will send it back immediately for a refund! I'm so concerned about the poor quality that I might unbox it again before sending it back just to add a few photos. Expensive for what I actually got…
