Great buy: Pot holder

Good halter for securely tying a goat. No choking, good quality, with good buckles and strong nylon. Suitable for medium to large sized goats. Will not fit large deer or dwarfs. Worked great on my American Alpine.

Suitable for Nigerian Pygmy Goats

Suitable for adult Nigerian Pygmy Goats. It features a wide range of fittings with adjustable holes for tightening or loosening around the neck. I think it could fit a range of smaller Nigerian goats up to larger Nigerian adult sizes.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Failing

Works better than a collar.

Works very well, better than the collar. My goat pulls the collar but doesn't pull because the leash is on the nose and if she pulls too hard it will tighten up causing temporary discomfort. I would recommend the over the collar anytime.

  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not reliable

Strong, reliable halters

Works great! So far this is the only halter that can keep my artist goat on a leash. I like the chin ring. My only concern is that the medium "almost" is too small for my large Lamancha, but the large size I tried is too big for my smallest Lamancha. It's a great balance and I wish the sizes were mixed more but hey. They are good halters. And no tough plastic parts! Hooray!

My kid can finally handle a heavier goat

I bought these for Nigerian pygmy goats. The male has his own mind, so I saw him literally take off, dragging my daughter with him. So I bought this pendant for him and his sister. Now my daughter can walk both of them and control them even when they are scared. Both are twice the weight of my baby. It is impressive. NOTE: If you want to buy adult Nigerian goats in a standard size, females need a small size.

This halter is literally perfect

This halter met and then exceeded my expectations. I usually have Nubian goats so when I was looking for a size for my Nigerian Dwarf I had no idea what I needed. And I'm not a fan of measurements. So I took a chance and bought this one. The color is safe pink which I love and seen all over the field. It's literally the perfect size for her face. Like it was made especially for her. If you have a Nigerian midget, he's sure to fit! I've included photos of Moo for your visual enjoyment and an…

Excellent halter. Just need a little more.

This halter is very strong and well made. The only problem I have is that it is not sewn on the sides. With a leash, which of course has a strong snap, it squeezes the sides and puts pressure on the nose/face. I even have a size bigger. Then I realized what was going on. My poor goat has a nasty cut on his snout where the belt rubs. Now that I've got everything together I'm going to try to sew the sides together so they don't slip off and pull on the nose because of the rope and clasp hanging…

Good for heavy goats

Admittedly, the lack of training of his large Nubian fallow deer was partly my fault. I should have taught her leadership better when she was younger. Now she's grown up and completely stubborn. She can knock me over and pull me along (I'm not a very tall person). No longer! I bought this halter hoping it would fit her large head and it does. When she put it on and I attached the leash, she immediately tried to run away. nope! By simply holding the leash in one hand, I was able to stop this…
