These little camera bags are just what you've been looking for! I have a MacBook Pro laptop and the lid is almost invisible. When first putting it on, I recommend opening the lid so you can see at a glance where you put it. I messed up the first one, but the second one has been running for months with no signs of wear!

The product worked as described but ANYWHERE in the full page description doesn't say it can damage your screen. Note that this $3.99 product could cost you several hundred dollars. Extremely disappointed as you can see from the picture my screen only cracked at the edge of the lid and now I have a vertical streak across the screen. 100% it's not worth your time, use a sticker.

I really liked the idea of using a cover like this instead of a strap. Allows you to conveniently use the camera when I want and close it for privacy when I don't want to use it. Contrary to what Apple claims, my computer was not affected. Good luck next time with the FBI, NSA, MI5, Five Eyes or any number of other spy agencies. Nowadays it is too easy to delve into people's affairs without their knowledge. Get some strength back today.

I can't comment on the permanent adhesive properties of this camera case yet, but I laughed when I opened the box and said how ridiculously small they were. You get three camera covers, but you only get one set of surface cleaning wipes. I wish someone could just come up with a cover that I could put on my Mac and then take off when I wanted the camera to be visible. I cannot rate them highly.

I bought this product thinking it would be the perfect product to keep my family's privacy when needed. Fast forward 6 months later and my daughter's new MacBook is turning black for no reason. We take it to an Apple Store and an Apple representative tells us it's the camera cover. If you close your MacBook, this product will damage the screen over time! WHAT? Glad we had Apple Care that covered the $99.00 repair. If we DID NOT have Apple Care, we would have to pay $700!

Didn't expect such a cheap product. The tape is of poor quality - I don't know how long it will last as the sliding lid has to be opened/closed. In addition, the sliding cover does not always close without effort, causing the device to shift from its position over the camera lens.
