Sturdy metal brace so you can stand on it almost effortlessly. Alignment was off in the holes by about 1/4 inch or more, so expect some "persuasion" to install correctly. After it enters I don't think it will break again.

Very durable and powder coated, which is not essential due to the installation location. It didn't quite fit so I had to modify it by drilling a hole for a self tapping screw. It's overpriced at $50 should be over $30. However, after modification, it made my 2001 XJ console very strong.

This thing is really well built; feels good and immediately looks good. I would give this product five stars, but here's the connection point... The path that the plastic tube has to take is impeded by the mounting posts that it sits between. You'll have to cut off a significant portion of the bracket to clear the way.
